Observation.

Sitting in the airport I've seen three people wearing bluetooth earpices (blueteeth?) in a short time. They're all dorks. They weren't talking on them, the were just in their ears. Unless required by law (like driving in Cali) don't wear these things in public any more. The "ooh look I've got a bluetooth" technical jewelry days have quickly slipped into geekdom. Take them off and put them in your fanny pack next to your pager.

Oops...I Was Supposed To Get Married Tomorrow ...My Bad.

Mini was kind enough to point out that I was supposed to enter wedded bliss on 8/8/08, I completely forgot I had agreed to this last year after a discussion about 7/7/07. I believe some badgering by Monica was involved. All is not lost though, I had a Vegas trip already planned for the weekend and there is precedence for spontaneous marriages in that fine city.

I'll bring her back so everyone can meet her. Just as soon as I meet her.

The ad agency for Greyound Bus Lines must have thought their campaign extolling stress-free bus travel was money...until a guy locked himself in a bus and decaptitated another passenger! I mean...wow. This is an actual ad in Toronto...needless to say, the're trying to take these down as soon as they can.

Worked on 2 vids over the weekend. One is a timelapse of Camelback Mountain, 50 minutes compressed to one. The other video is Kramervision IV...which lapses everything else, and it's worth it to see the man try to fit into a 2-sizes-too-small Mamma Mia T-shirt.

And it's nice to be back into editing again - feels good.
