Top Five Things This Weekend
1 - Scottsdale Culinary Festival
Eat, Drink and Be Pretty as they say and there will be plenty of that, plus port-a-johns, all weekend on Scottsdale's Civic Center Plaza. Ever wonder what a Scottsdale night club looks like in the light of day? Here's your chance. Stop by our little corner of the prettys and play Peak Pong, we wont be in heels though (I hope).

2 - NASCAR at PIR
Boogity. Probably at the opposite end of more than just the valley from The Culinary Fest. Here's your chance to watch 3 hours of left turns while wearing ear plugs and shouting "Git 'Er Done!" at the top of your lungs. Try getting in the spirit by driving out there as fast as you possibly can.

3 - Maricopa County Fair
If you can't wait for the State Fair or it's been too long since your last visit with SpongeBob SquarePants, this might be the ticket. Yes, fried things galore and spinny rides to digest it all.

4 - Phoenix Pride
Not that there's anything wrong with it. The 13th annual Pride Parade with Grand Marshall Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon runs down 3rd st between Thomas and Indian School Saturday at 11am kicking off this weekends Pride Festival at Steele Indian School Park. Not for those easily startled by rainbows.

5 - Rotary River Rally
Let's make boats out of cardboard and race 'em. At least you don't need the earplugs for noise here. It's a family event so maybe you can witness dad's swimming prowess when he underestimates the buoyancy of his soggy cardboard in the 200 yard race. Tempe Town Lake.
